Meet Derm DOC

Dr. Andrew D. Breithaupt is a highly valued member of the Derm Dude team who plays a key role in product formulations and helping provide our customers with relatable and reliable information about men’s hygiene, skincare and overall wellness.

Dr. Breithaupt earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, and completed his dermatology residency at UCLA. He went on to complete a highly selective fellowship at UCLA in Mohs surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery and cosmetic dermatology — training offered to only one physician per year. He serves as an associate clinical professor of dermatology at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and regularly volunteers his time teaching medical students & is also committed to caring for veterans at the West Los Angeles Veterans Hospital. He has also authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles, four book chapters and has delivered more than 25 presentations at scientific meetings nationwide.
